Imagine our surprise when the ol’ Stargate™ turned on. We were just about out of suspended animation when it supon up and a wild Devyn Dalton appeared!

We in the MLP fandom know Devyn best as the sweet and timid changeling, Ocellus on Friendship is Magic, but she’s something of a shapeshifter in the rest of her career as well. (And extremely sweet, but not so much with the timid.)

She’s done other voice work, notably Shasa on Beyblade Burst and Zia in Barbie’s Rock ‘n’ Royal Movie. She’s appeared on-screen as Púca in DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, the Angriest Boy in the World on Legion, and as Tabby in Netflix’s Hypnotic, among others.

Even more impressive is her lengthy resume of motion capture roles and stunt performance. She played Cornelius in War for the Planet of the Apes, Cornelia in Rise of the Planet of the Apes, and has done stunt work for Stephen Spielberg in The BFG, all over the Arrowverse, in A Series of Unfortunate Events, Resident Alien, and in so many more.

As we continue our little trek through the ‘verse, the good ship BABSCon has picked up one shiny new passenger and we can’t wait to tell you all about him. It’s IDW, Marvel, and indie comics writing phenom, Jeremy Whitley!

We’re on the final day of our BABSBomb, so what better way to finish than with a rousing crescendo? How about the man who writes the songs that make the pony world sing? His cosmic talent knows no bounds, and he’s going to be joining us at BABSCon 2022 this April 15–17. It's the maestro himself, Daniel Ingram.

It is impossible to overstate Daniel’s impact on the My Little Pony franchise. He wrote every single song in Friendship is Magic, Equestria Girls, and My Little Pony: The Movie. All of Them. From “Apples to the Core” to “Winter Wrap-Up,” from “Awesome as I Want to Be” to “Welcome to the Show,” it’s all him. Every time you’ve belted out “The Smile Song” or “Hearts as Strong as Horses,” you should be thanking him if you aren’t already. Oh, and he also worked on a few other little shows like Littlest Pet Shop, Martha Speaks, and others. No big thing.
